Strategic advice that goes beyond the spreadsheet.
Chris brings the institutional expertise of a Big 4 background with the hard-won perspective of someone who has grown, led, and sold a business himself — offering a rare combination that few advisers can match.

Investor & Exit Readiness
Most owners get one shot at a transaction. We work with you ahead of the event — sharpening your story, stress-testing the numbers, and closing value gaps before investors find them. Chris has navigated a sale personally; he knows the questions coming, and how best to prepare.
An experienced non-executive director and strategic adviser is one of the most valuable, and underused, assets available to a growing business. Chris provides independent board-level advice, financial governance, investor relations, and scale-up planning for businesses navigating their next phase of growth.
Most advisers bring strong technical credentials. Fewer have personally led a business, managed a P&L, built a team of 35, and navigated a successful exit as the principal in the room.
That dual experience — Big 4 transaction rigour combined with real-world operational leadership — is what Eastman Advisory brings to every engagement.
When you appoint us, you are not handed to a team of associates. Chris leads every engagement, personally, from first call to completion.
Senior-only delivery
No juniors, no handover, no loss in translation. Chris is your counterpart from mandate to completion.
The founder's perspective
Having led and exited a business personally, Chris understands what is truly at stake — commercially and personally — for shareholders.
Institutional standards
Big 4 training means your deal is prepared and executed to the standard sophisticated buyers and investors expect.
International reach
A track record of cross-border M&A means we know how to identify and transact with overseas buyers and investors.
We do the heavy lifting
We take ownership of the process — materials, outreach, due diligence, negotiations — so your team keeps the business performing.
With over two decades of experience in high-level corporate finance, Eastman Advisory was founded on the principles of integrity, precision, and long-term partnership. No unnecessary complexity. No jargon. No delay — the role of a good adviser is to simplify, not add noise.
Integrity
Honest advice, clearly delivered
We tell you what we think, not what you want to hear. There are no easy answers in transactions — only honest ones. You get our genuine view, every time, from first conversation to close.
Precision
Detail that protects value
Transactions are undone by the things that are missed. As an engineer by training, Chris brings a rigorous, detail-led approach to every engagement — developed through Big 4 disciplines and proven through exacting quality and delivery standards in high-performance manufacturing. Nothing is left to chance.
Partnership
Working alongside you, not above you
We work collaboratively, as a genuine extension of your team. We invest the time to understand your business, your ambitions, and what matters most to you — so that our advice is always grounded in your reality, not a template lifted from the last deal.
Value
Commercial judgment that counts
Transactions are won and lost on judgment calls, not textbook answers. Chris takes a pragmatic approach — applying deep commercial experience to find the practical solution that balances the ideal with what will actually get the deal done and maximise value for shareholders.
Executes
We drive momentum to close
Deals die through delay. We manage pace, maintain investor confidence, and coordinate advisers, lawyers and counterparties to keep the process moving. Hands-on and approachable throughout — we are not observers, we are drivers.
Discretion
Your confidence, protected
Transactions are sensitive. Having sat on the other side of the table, we understand what is at stake beyond the numbers — and we treat every conversation, every relationship, and every piece of information with the care that demands.
